Conceptual depth, precise craftsmanship, and intimate presence guide the work.

About the Designer

I am a jewelry designer currently studying jewelry design at Pforzheim University in Germany. Before turning to jewelry, I completed a master’s degree in art theory in Seoul, where my research focused on American Abstract Expressionism.

My background in art theory continues to shape my approach to making. Ideas of gesture, rhythm, color, surface, and immaterial sensation are translated into three-dimensional, wearable objects through metal and gemstones.

Another important aspect of my background is my cultural origin. Born in Seoul, South Korea, my visual sensibility has been shaped by both East Asian aesthetic traditions and Western art discourse, allowing me to approach jewelry as a site of cultural translation and layered perception.

FROM CONCEPT TO FORM

My practice encompasses the entire process of jewellery creation, from initial sketches and CAD modelling to wax carving, metalsmithing, polishing, and finishing. Combining traditional craftsmanship with digital techniques allows me to approach each piece with a deep understanding of form, proportion, structure, and detail.

My design approach emphasises refined aesthetics, considered proportions, and individuality. Each piece is developed with a distinct character, reflecting the identity of its wearer. Conceived as an intimate object worn close to the body, my jewellery extends beyond adornment to become something deeply personal.
